TPR (Thermoplastic Rubber) and TR (Thermoplastic Rubber compounds) are highly versatile materials used for shoe soles. TR compounds typically offer specialized formulations designed to optimize flexibility, slip resistance, and abrasion performance for specific footwear applications.
Our TPR (CYS series) features a hardness range of 45-85 Shore A, while the TR compound (CYR series) spans 50-80 Shore A. This offers excellent flexibility and adaptability for different types of casual, sport, and work footwear.
For our CYS TPR series, the recommended injection temperature ranges from 180°C to 220°C depending on the specific grade. For the CYR TR series, a slightly lower temperature range of 160°C to 190°C is recommended.
Yes, our CYS030 grade TPR material offers a low density of 0.3-0.35 g/cm³, making it ideal for lightweight, comfortable, and cushioned shoe soles. Higher density options up to 1.1 g/cm³ are available for enhanced durability and wear resistance.
Our TPR materials (CYS series) feature an exceptionally wide operating temperature range from -45°C to +70°C, ensuring excellent crack resistance and flexibility even in extremely cold climates.
